TITLE 67 STATE GOVERNMENT AND STATE AFFAIRS CHAPTER 4 LEGISLATURE 67-428. Officers of council — Committees — Director of legislative services. The president pro tempore of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives shall serve as cochairmen of the council. The council may adopt its own rules of procedure and appoint such committees as may be necessary for the proper and efficient performance of its duties. Committees shall consist of members of the council and other members of the legislature. The council shall appoint a director of legislative services, who shall serve at the pleasure of the council, and the council may employ such other employees and engage the services of such persons and agencies as may be necessary or desirable in the performance of its duties.
