TITLE 67 STATE GOVERNMENT AND STATE AFFAIRS CHAPTER 15 STATE SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION 67-1501. Election, qualifications, oath and bond. There shall be elected at the general election, 1974, and every four (4) years thereafter, by the qualified electors of the state, a state superintendent of public instruction, who shall reside at the seat of government, and shall perform such duties as are prescribed by the constitution and laws of the state. Before entering upon the duties of his office, the state superintendent of public instruction shall take and subscribe to the oath prescribed by the constitution. The state superintendent of public instruction shall be bonded to the state of Idaho in the time, form and manner prescribed by chapter 8, title 59 , Idaho Code. Said oath shall be deposited with the secretary of state.
