Idaho Code § 67-1204 — Money To Be Kept In Office — Penalty.
TITLE 67 STATE GOVERNMENT AND STATE AFFAIRS CHAPTER 12 STATE TREASURER 67-1204. Money to be kept in office — Penalty. (1) All state moneys in the custody of the state treasurer not otherwise deposited or invested as is or may be provided by law shall be kept in a secure location in the office of the state treasurer. (2) A violation of this section shall subject the state treasurer, upon conviction thereof, to pay a fine of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000) nor more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or to imprisonment in the state prison for a period of not less than one (1) nor more than ten (10) years, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
