Idaho Code § 66-341 — Exemptions From Liability.

TITLE 66 STATE CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS CHAPTER 3 HOSPITALIZATION OF MENTALLY ILL 66-341. Exemptions from liability. No agency, public or private facility, nor an employee of a public or private facility, nor the superintendent, professional person in charge, or attending staff of any such facility, nor any public official performing functions necessary to the administration of this chapter, nor a peace officer responsible for detaining or transporting a person pursuant to this chapter, shall be civilly or criminally liable for detaining, failing to detain, diagnosing, transporting, treating or releasing a person pursuant to this chapter; provided that such duties were performed according to the procedures of this chapter in good faith and without gross negligence.
