TITLE 61 PUBLIC UTILITY REGULATION CHAPTER 3 DUTIES OF PUBLIC UTILITIES 61-331. Violation of act — Criminal penalty. If any person, or two (2) or more persons, act, negotiate, participate, attempt, arrange or conspire to make or effect, or to receive or take, a transfer of any real or personal property used for the purposes specified in section 61-327 or section 61-328 , or of any interest therein, in violation of the prohibitions contained in section 61-327 or of any other provision of this act, each, any or all of such persons, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail or state penitentiary not exceeding two (2) years or by a fine not exceeding $5000, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
