Idaho Code § 6-915 — Venue.
TITLE 6 ACTIONS IN PARTICULAR CASES CHAPTER 9 TORT CLAIMS AGAINST GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES 6-915. Venue. Actions against the state or its employee shall be brought in the county in which the cause of action arose or in Ada County. In addition, a resident of the state of Idaho may bring an action in the county of his residence. Actions against a political subdivision or its employee shall be brought in the county in which the cause of action arose or in any county where the political subdivision is located.
