Idaho Code § 58-318 — Supplying Lost Certificates.

TITLE 58 PUBLIC LANDS CHAPTER 3 APPRAISEMENT, LEASE, AND SALE OF LANDS 58-318. Supplying lost certificates. Whenever a certificate of purchase shall be lost or wrongfully withheld by any person from the owner thereof, the state board of land commissioners may receive evidence of such loss or wrongful detention, and upon satisfactory proof of the fact, may cause the certificate of purchase, or deed, as the case may be, to issue to such person or to his grantees or assigns, as shall appear to them to be the proprietor of the land described in the original certificate of purchase.
