Idaho Code § 55-2404 — Violations.

TITLE 55 PROPERTY IN GENERAL CHAPTER 24 ACTIVITIES IN PROXIMITY TO HIGH VOLTAGE OVERHEAD LINES 55-2404. Violations. (1) Any contractor or agent thereof violating the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) to be imposed by the court in favor of the state and deposited in the state general account. (2)  If a violation of the provisions of this chapter results in physical or electrical contact with any high voltage overhead line, the contractor committing the violation shall be liable to the public utility owning or operating the high voltage overhead line for all damages to the facilities and all costs and expenses, including damages to third persons, incurred by the public utility as a result of the contact. (3)  County prosecuting attorneys and the attorney general are authorized to prosecute violations of the provisions of this chapter.
