Idaho Code § 55-1820 — Jurisdiction.
TITLE 55 PROPERTY IN GENERAL CHAPTER 18 SALE OR DISPOSITION OF LAND LOCATED OUTSIDE THE STATE 55-1820. Jurisdiction. (1) Dispositions of subdivided lands are subject to this chapter, and the district courts of this state have jurisdiction in claims or causes of action arising under this chapter if: (a) The subdivider’s principal office is located in this state; or (b) Any offer or disposition of subdivided lands is made in this state, whether or not the offeror or offeree is then present in this state, if the offer originates within this state or is directed by the offeror to a person or place in this state and received by the person or at the place to which it is directed. (2) Any person who makes a disposition of subdivided lands in this state, whether or not the subdivided lands are registered in this state, has thereby submitted to the jurisdiction of the state of Idaho and to the administrative jurisdiction of the commission and shall be subject to all penalties and remedies available under Idaho law for any violation of the provisions of this chapter.
