Idaho Code § 50-204 — Appointment Of Officers — Oath — Bond.

TITLE 50 MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS CHAPTER 2 GENERAL PROVISIONS — GOVERNMENT — TERRITORY 50-204. Appointment of officers — Oath — Bond. The mayor, except as otherwise provided in sections 50-801 through 50-812 , with the consent of the council shall appoint a city clerk, a city treasurer, a city attorney and such other officers as may be deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the city. The city clerk, city treasurer, and such other officers as are designated by the council shall, before entering upon the duties thereof, execute a bond to the city in such penal sum as the city council may by ordinance determine, conditioned on the faithful performance of his duties. All official bonds shall be approved by the city council and when so approved shall be filed with the city clerk, except the bond of the city clerk, which shall be filed with the mayor.
