Idaho Code § 50-1608 — Temporary Appointments.
TITLE 50 MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS CHAPTER 16 CIVIL SERVICE 50-1608. Temporary appointments. The appointing authority of each department under the classified civil service, by and with the advice and consent of the civil service commission, may employ any person for temporary work without making such appointment from the certified list; but under no circumstances shall such temporary employee be appointed to a permanent position unless he shall have been duly certified by the civil service commission as in other cases.
