Idaho Code § 49-934 — Brakes On Motor-Driven Cycles.

TITLE 49 MOTOR VEHICLES CHAPTER 9 VEHICLE EQUIPMENT 49-934. Brakes on motor-driven cycles. (1) The director is authorized to require an inspection of the brake on any motor-driven cycle and to disapprove any brake which he finds will not comply with the performance standard set forth in section 49-933 , Idaho Code, or which in his opinion is not so designed or constructed as to insure reasonable and reliable performance in actual use. (2)  The director may request the department to refuse registration for, or suspend or revoke the registration of any vehicle referred to in this section when he determines that the brake on the vehicle does not comply with the provisions of this section. (3)  No person shall operate on any highway any vehicle referred to in this section in the event the director has disapproved the brake equipment upon that vehicle or type of vehicle.
