Stop Lamps And Turn Signals Required On Motor Vehicles

TITLE 49 MOTOR VEHICLES CHAPTER 9 VEHICLE EQUIPMENT 49-908. Stop lamps and turn signals required on motor vehicles. (1) After December 31, 1986, it shall be unlawful for any person to sell any motor vehicle, including any motorcycle or motor-driven cycle, in this state or for any person to drive a vehicle on the highways unless it is equipped with at least one (1) stop lamp meeting the requirements of section 49-919 , Idaho Code. (2)  No person shall sell or offer for sale or operate on the highways any motor vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer registered in this state and manufactured or assembled after December 31, 1954, unless it is equipped with mechanical or electrical turn signals meeting the requirements of section 49-918 , Idaho Code. This subsection shall not apply to a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle.
