Idaho Code § 49-2432 — Ridesharing Exempt From Workmen’S Compensation Law.

TITLE 49 MOTOR VEHICLES CHAPTER 24 MISCELLANEOUS 49-2432. Ridesharing exempt from workmen’s compensation law. Title 72 , Idaho Code, providing compensation for workers injured during the course of their employment, shall not apply to a person injured while participating in a ridesharing arrangement between his place of residence and place of employment or termini near those places, provided that if the employer owns, leases or contracts for the motor vehicle used in the arrangement, the provisions of title 72 , Idaho Code, shall apply.
