Idaho Code § 49-211 — Authority To Close Unmarked Crosswalks.

TITLE 49 MOTOR VEHICLES CHAPTER 2 GENERAL 49-211. Authority to close unmarked crosswalks. The department and local authorities in their respective jurisdictions may, after an engineering and traffic investigation, designate unmarked crosswalk locations where pedestrian crossing is prohibited or when pedestrians must yield the right-of-way to vehicles. Restrictions shall be effective only when traffic-control devices indicating the restrictions are in place.
