Idaho Code § 46-204 — Promotion, When Effective.
TITLE 46 MILITIA AND MILITARY AFFAIRS CHAPTER 2 OFFICERS AND ENLISTED PERSONNEL 46-204. Promotion, when effective. When a commissioned officer or warrant officer of the national guard is promoted to higher grade and accepts same, the promotion shall not be effective until the officer has qualified for the higher office by examination as required under the provisions of the national defense act.
