Idaho Code § 42-5216 — Organizational Meeting Of Board.

TITLE 42 IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE — WATER RIGHTS AND RECLAMATION CHAPTER 52 GROUND WATER DISTRICTS 42-5216. Organizational meeting of board. From and after the date the county commission files its order declaring the district to be formed by election, the organization of the district shall be complete and those ground water users specified in section 42-5214 , Idaho Code, shall be included within the district. The officers and directors of the district shall be entitled to enter immediately upon the duties of their respective offices, upon qualifying according to law, and shall hold such offices respectively, until their successors are elected and qualified. The board of directors so elected shall meet within thirty (30) days after their election and elect a chairman, and appoint a secretary and treasurer, who shall perform the duties imposed upon such officers under this chapter.
