Filing Of Life Settlement Contracts And Disclosure Statements

TITLE 41 INSURANCE CHAPTER 19 LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES AND ANNUITY CONTRACTS 41-1953. Filing of Life settlement Contracts and Disclosure Statements. A person shall not use a life settlement contract form or provide to an owner a disclosure statement form in this state unless first filed with the director accompanied by a certification that the form is in compliance with sections 41-1950 through 41-1965 , Idaho Code. The director may disapprove a life settlement contract form or disclosure statement form if, in the director’s opinion, the contract or provisions contained therein fail to meet the requirements of sections 41-1950 through 41-1965 , Idaho Code, or are unreasonable, contrary to the interests of the public, or otherwise misleading or unfair to the owner. At the director’s discretion, the director may require the submission of advertising material.
