TITLE 39 HEALTH AND SAFETY CHAPTER 63 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CRIME PREVENTION 39-6309. Issuance of order — Assistance of peace officer — Designation of appropriate law enforcement agency. When an order is issued or a foreign protection order is recognized under this chapter upon request of the petitioner, the court may order a peace officer to accompany the petitioner and assist in placing the petitioner in possession of the dwelling or residence, or otherwise assist in the execution of the protection order. A certified copy of the order shall be prepared by the clerk for transmittal to the appropriate law enforcement agency as specified in section 39-6311 , Idaho Code. Orders issued or foreign protection orders recognized under this chapter shall include an instruction to the appropriate law enforcement agency to execute, serve, or enforce the order.
