Complaints

TITLE 39 HEALTH AND SAFETY CHAPTER 35 IDAHO CERTIFIED FAMILY HOMES 39-3556. Complaints. (1) A person who believes that any provision of this chapter, or rule promulgated under this chapter, has been violated may file a complaint with the department. Records and information that identify a complainant are exempt from disclosure as set forth in section 74-105 (16), Idaho Code. (2)  The certifying agent shall investigate any complaint alleging a violation of this chapter or the rules promulgated pursuant to this chapter. The certifying agent has the discretion to decide the activities of investigation while considering the nature of each allegation and arriving at a conclusion informed by a thorough and objective exploration of the known evidence.
