TITLE 38 FORESTRY, FOREST PRODUCTS AND STUMPAGE DISTRICTS CHAPTER 8 FLOATING TIMBER 38-804. Application of proceeds. When sold, the proceeds of the timber must be applied, first, to the payment of the charges of the sale, and in liquidation of the expenses and damages awarded to the person entitled thereto; and the residue must be paid to the county treasurer, to be by him paid over to the owner, or his representative or assigns, on the production of satisfactory proof of ownership to the magistrate judge, and on his order therefor made within one (1) year after its receipt.
