TITLE 38 FORESTRY, FOREST PRODUCTS AND STUMPAGE DISTRICTS CHAPTER 15 IDAHO FOREST PRODUCTS COMMISSION 38-1509. Limitations to the powers of the commission. Irrespective of such actions as may be taken by individual members of the commission, the commission itself shall not use any funds or other resources of the commission to influence the outcome of any election for public office, be it state or federal, or to influence the enactment or defeat of any specific piece of legislation; provided, however, the commission may, in the course of implementation of this chapter, generally and objectively inform the public of legislative or regulatory proposals which may affect the management of public or private forests in Idaho or the forest products industry.
