Idaho Code § 34-601 — Dates On Which Elections Shall Be Held.

TITLE 34 ELECTIONS CHAPTER 6 TIME OF ELECTIONS — OFFICERS ELECTED 34-601. Dates on which elections shall be held. Elections shall be held in this state on the following dates or times: (1)  A primary election shall be held on the third Tuesday in May, 2012, and every two (2) years thereafter on the above-mentioned Tuesday. (2)  A general election shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November, 2012, and every two (2) years thereafter on the above-mentioned Tuesday. (3)  Special state elections shall be held on the dates ordered by the governor’s proclamation, or as otherwise provided by law.
