TITLE 33 EDUCATION CHAPTER 1 STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION 33-128. Statement of public purpose. The Idaho constitution established a system of free common schools recognizing that "the stability of a republican form of government depends mainly upon the intelligence of the people." The legislature finds that there is a need for expanded educational experiences including a need for additional positive science education experiences for the youth of this state. The legislature finds that it is in the public interest to encourage science education opportunities through cooperative efforts with private nonprofit organizations offering science education programs.
