Idaho Code § 31-2205 — Penalty For Failure To Return.
TITLE 31 COUNTIES AND COUNTY LAW CHAPTER 22 SHERIFF 31-2205. Penalty for failure to return. If the sheriff does not return a notice or process in his possession with the necessary indorsement thereon without delay, he is liable to the party aggrieved for the sum of $200.00 and for all damages sustained by him.
