Idaho Code § 25-2807 — Dogs As Property — Proof Of Value.

TITLE 25 ANIMALS CHAPTER 28 DOGS 25-2807. Dogs as property — Proof of value. Dogs are property; and when the value of any dog is material in any civil or criminal proceeding in this state, the same may be established under the usual rules of evidence relating to values of personal property. No entity of state or local government may by ordinance or regulation prevent the owner of any dog from protecting it from loss by the use of an electronic locating collar.
