Idaho Code § 22-2301 — Statement Of Purpose.
TITLE 22 AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE CHAPTER 23 NURSERIES AND FLORISTS 22-2301. Statement of purpose. The legislature and the Idaho nursery and florist industry find and declare that the propagation and raising of nursery and florist stock is an agricultural pursuit that should be regulated and assisted by the department of agriculture to provide a high quality and pest free product to the citizens of Idaho and Idaho’s external trading partners. A nursery and floral services program shall be maintained within the department for the purpose of carrying out and enforcing the provisions of this chapter.
