Idaho Code § 22-2217 — Stop-Sale Orders.

TITLE 22 AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE CHAPTER 22 SOIL AND PLANT AMENDMENTS 22-2217. Stop-sale orders. (1) The director may issue and enforce a written "stop-sale, use or removal" order to the manufacturer, distributor, owner, or custodian of any soil amendment or plant amendment, or any lot thereof, if he determines that: (a)  A soil amendment or plant amendment is not properly registered or its registration has been revoked under this chapter; or (b)  A soil amendment or plant amendment is misbranded or adulterated. (2)  The order may require the person to whom it is directed to hold the soil amendment or plant amendment, or lot thereof, that is the subject of the order at a designated place until the requirements of this chapter are satisfied and all costs and expenses reasonably incurred by the department in connection with the withdrawal are paid by or on behalf of the person to whom the order was directed.
