Idaho Code § 22-1201 — Legislative Intent.

TITLE 22 AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE CHAPTER 12 POTATO COMMISSION 22-1201. Legislative intent. It is in the best interest of all the people of the state of Idaho that the abundant natural resources of Idaho be protected, fully developed, and uniformly distributed. The potato industry is one of the agricultural industries that contributes to the economic welfare of the state. It is the purpose of this chapter to promote the public health and welfare of the citizens of the state by providing means for the protection, promotion, study, research, analysis and development of markets relating to the growing and promotion of Idaho potato products and byproducts.
