Idaho Code § 20-529 — Appointment Of County Probation Officers.

TITLE 20 STATE PRISON AND COUNTY JAILS CHAPTER 5 JUVENILE CORRECTIONS ACT 20-529. Appointment of county probation officers. The courts in the several counties of this state shall enter into a contract or agreement for probation services to the counties or, if the court deems local probation services are preferable, may appoint one (1) or more persons to serve as probation officers at the expense of the county with the concurrence of the county commissioners. County juvenile probation services may be paid for from funds generated by the fees collected pursuant to the provisions of section 20-520 , Idaho Code, and any additional funds that may be annually appropriated by the board of county commissioners.
