Idaho Code § 19-5508 — Additional Samples Authorized.
TITLE 19 CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CHAPTER 55 THE IDAHO DNA DATABASE ACT OF 1996 19-5508. Additional samples authorized. Whenever the bureau of forensic services notifies the department of correction or other responsible agency that a DNA sample or thumbprint impression is not adequate for any reason, the department of correction or other custodial agency shall draw or take additional samples and impressions as necessary to satisfy the requirements of this chapter, and transmit such samples and impressions to the bureau of forensic services.
