Idaho Code § 18-7604 — Penalties.
TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 76 TAPE PIRACY ACT 18-7604. Penalties. (1) Any person who violates subsection (1) of section 18-7603 , Idaho Code, is guilty of a felony and upon conviction may be fined not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or imprisoned for not more than four (4) years, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each recording of the original fixation of sounds without consent of the owner thereof shall constitute a separate offense. (2) Any person who violates subsection (2) or (3) of section 18-7603 , Idaho Code, is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction may be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned for not more than six (6) months, or both such fine and imprisonment.
