3-3A-3: ELECTRICAL EXAMINING BOARD:
A. Board Created, Membership: There is hereby created an electrical examining board for the purpose of examining into and determining the qualifications and fitness of all applicants to become licensed electricians. Such board shall consist of the electrical inspector 1 and one other competent person to be appointed by the mayor.
B. Powers And Duties: The electrical examining board shall have the power and it is hereby made its duty to promulgate rules and regulations for the examination of applicants for a licensed electrician and regulating of examination of such applicants. Such rules and regulations shall be subject to the approval of the mayor and council.
C. Compensation: Each member of the electrical examining board shall receive a fee of two dollars ($2.00) for each person examined by the board as provided in this article; such fee to be paid by the city as other claims against the city. (Ord. 1, 5-24-1971)
