3-3A-1: APPLICATION FOR LICENSE, QUALIFICATIONS:
Any person wishing to engage in the business of installing any electrical wiring, machinery, apparatus, sign or equipment shall make application to the city council indicating his desire to become a licensed electrician. Such application must be accompanied by a certificate of the electrical examining board approving his qualifications to act as a licensed electrician and authorizing the issuance of the license. If the application is approved, the city council shall order the city clerk to issue the license, upon the payment of the required fee.
No license shall be issued to any person until they have qualified before the electrical examining board. (Ord. 1, 5-24-1971)
