7-3-13: PARKING TRAILERS RESTRICTED:

   A.   General: It shall be unlawful, within the city, for any person to park any trailer on any street, alley or highway, or other public place, or on any tract of land owned by any person whether such trailer be occupied or unoccupied, except as provided in this chapter.

   B.   Emergency Or Temporary Stopping Or Parking: Emergency or temporary stopping or parking is permitted on any street, alley or highway for not longer than two (2) hours, subject to any other and further prohibition, regulations or limitations imposed by the provisions of this chapter, or other traffic ordinances of the city or statutes of the state.

   C.   Occupied And Unoccupied Trailers: No person shall park, place or locate and use any trailer coach or tent for human habitation on any lot, tract, parcel or piece of land in the city for a longer period than three (3) hours, except in a licensed trailer court; provided, however, that one unoccupied trailer may be permitted in any accessory garage building, or an accessory car or trailer port, or such trailer may be parked on the rear half of a lot at least three feet (3') from side property lines and fifteen feet (15') from any dwelling on adjoining lots. On corner lots, no trailer shall be permitted within ten feet (10') from any side street property lines.

   D.   Business Uses: Other than in tourist courts, no trailer shall be parked to provide living quarters, whether permanent or temporary, nor shall a trailer be parked or stored to provide for any accessory business uses, or parked, located or stored for rental purposes, or other financial gain.
