7-1F-2: PLUMBING INSPECTOR:
   A.   Appointment, Term Of Office: The city council shall have the power to appoint some person qualified and experienced in plumbing, to be plumbing inspector who shall hold such office at the discretion of the city council. (Ord. 363, 2-22-2000)
   B.   Duties: It shall be the duty of the plumbing inspector to attend to the enforcement of the provisions of this article, as the same shall pertain to the inspection and supervision of plumbing systems. The plumbing inspector shall have the jurisdictional authority to inspect, and shall inspect, installations of plumbing and related equipment within the city's limits, to give notice of plumbing violations, to issue or cancel plumbing permits, and to otherwise carry out its duties as plumbing inspector for the city. The plumbing inspector appointed by the city council shall inspect such work and report violations to the building official.
   C.   Compensation: The compensation that the plumbing inspector shall receive for providing services shall be fixed by the grade and range table adopted by the city council. (Ord. 560, 10-10-2006)
