7-1C-2: ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR:
A. Appointment: The city council shall authorize the building official to appoint some person qualified and experienced in electrical work to be electrical inspector who shall hold such position at the discretion of the city council.
B. Duties: It shall be the duty of the electrical inspector to attend to the enforcement of the provisions of this article as the same shall pertain to the inspection and supervision of electrical wiring, apparatus, equipment, machinery and signs within the city. He shall make a thorough and complete inspection of all outlets on any work done under permits issued under this article. The electrical inspector appointed by the city council shall inspect such work and report violations to the building official.
C. Compensation: The compensation that the electrical inspector shall receive for work shall be based on grade and range table as adopted by the city council. (Ord. 561, 10-10-2006)
