7-1C-1: ELECTRICAL CODE ADOPTED:
Except where a different standard is required by this article, all work of electrical wiring, installation and construction, and the material, apparatus and fixtures used therein shall be in accordance with the rules established in the National Fire Protection Association, article 70, 2014 edition, and amendments of the national electrical code adopted as state law, which is hereby adopted for the city, except: compliance with article 675-8(b) will include the additional requirement that a disconnecting means always be provided at the point of service from the utility no matter where the disconnecting means for the machine is located. Compliance with article 550.32(B) shall limit installation of a service on a manufactured home to those homes manufactured after January 1, 1992. The electrical inspector appointed by the city council shall inspect such work and report violations to the building official. (Ord. 728, 1-27-2015)
