3-2C-5: INVESTIGATION OF APPLICANT:
Upon receipt of an application for a license under this article, accompanied by the required fee, the city clerk shall obtain and review the report of the investigation of the applicant by the director, and may rely upon the director's investigation in determining whether or not the applicant possesses all of the qualifications and none of the disqualifications for a license. The city clerk may, additionally, conduct such independent investigation as he or she may deem appropriate. (Ord. 655, 3-22-2011)
