1-7-3: WARRANTS:

1-7-3: WARRANTS:
   A.   Each City warrant shall show the fund upon which the same is drawn and if against any fund based upon an appropriation, shall show the amount appropriated to such fund and the amount expended therefrom after deducting the amount of such warrant. (Ord. 7)
   B.   Outstanding warrants shall be called for payment in their order whenever the City Treasurer shall have on hand in the fund upon which such warrants are drawn, an amount sufficient to pay said warrants. (Ord. 417, 3-12-2002)
   C.   Every fund in the hands of the City Treasurer shall be paid out in the order in which the warrants are presented for payment. In the absence of sufficient funds, the City Council may, by resolution, order payment of claims by money borrowed by either:
      1.   Register warrants as provided in section 31-2125, Idaho Code, or
      2.   By issuing its tax anticipation notes as provided in section 63-3102, Idaho Code, or
      3.   Short term borrowing not involved with the tax effort in anticipation of approved Federal or State grants 1 . (Ord. 7; amd. 1985 Code)
