6-5A-1: PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The purpose of this article, in conjunction with the 2009 Idaho state plumbing code and Idaho Code section 37-2102, is to protect the health and safety of water consumers that are provided water service from the city of Eagle municipal water system by the control of actual and/or potential cross connections through the installation, inspection, and testing of approved backflow prevention devices. The city of Eagle is empowered to eliminate or control all cross connections throughout its service area. (Ord. 636, 11-24-2009; amd. Ord. 690, 1-8-2013)
