1-6-1: APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS:
A. The Mayor, with the consent of the City Council, shall appoint a City Clerk, City Treasurer, City Attorney, City Engineer, Police Chief, department supervisors and any other officers and supervisors as may be deemed necessary by the Council for the efficient operation of the City.
B. The Mayor, by and with the consent of the City Council, shall make appointments to all City offices now existing in the City which have not been in this chapter specifically named and which may be hereafter created from time to time by the City Council.
C. The Mayor, by and with the consent of the City Council, shall appoint and duly swear in a Code Enforcement Officer granting such officer the authority to issue criminal citations for violations of this Code.
