7-1G-3: INTERNATIONAL WILDLAND-URBAN INTERFACE CODE ADOPTED:

There is hereby adopted by the city the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUI), 2018 edition, as published by the International Code Council, as amended by the city herein, including appendix A and B, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing the mitigation of hazard to life and property from the intrusion of fire from wildland exposures, fire from adjacent structures and prevention of structure fires from spreading to wildland fuels. One copy of the current edition of the 2018 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code, including Appendix A and B, are on file in the office of the City Clerk and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the effective date hereof, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the IWUI overlay district.
