2-7-11: MISUSE AND DEFACING LIBRARY RESOURCES AND PROPERTY:
No person shall wilfully or intentionally cut, tear, deface, break, injure, destroy or alter any item of the library materials collection or other property belonging to the public library or any branch thereof. No person shall wilfully bypass the security of library network or any other computer network, including the internet, while using electronic resources at the public library. Any person misusing the library network or attempting to bypass its security will forfeit the right to use computers in the library, and will, in addition to other penalties prescribed by law, be liable for the financial costs of the library to repair damage done to the library's electronic resources network. (1952 Code § 2-04-08)
