3-1A-8: DISPOSITION OF APPLICATIONS:
A. Application Review: The City Clerk's Office shall take action to approve or deny an application for a license, or application for renewal thereof, within sixty (60) days of the receipt of a completed application.
B. Investigation: Upon receipt of a completed application for a license or renewal thereof, the City Clerk's Office shall cause an investigation to be made to the extent necessary to determine whether the applicant or licensee is qualified to be licensed in accordance with this code and state or federal law.
C. Termination of Application Process: An applicant's failure to cooperate with the City in the application process may result in the termination of the application process. Failure to cooperate means that the information requested is not provided within sixty (60) days or not provided in the form requested by the City Clerk, or both.
D. Failure to Complete Application Process: An applicant's failure to complete the application process within sixty (60) days of the original date of application will result in a denial of the application.
E. Incomplete Application: The City is not required to take any action on an application until the application is complete. (Ord. 2-26, 2-10-2026)
