3-16-4-6: LICENSE AND NOTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR REAL PROPERTY TOWS:
It shall be unlawful to post real property pursuant to Idaho Code section 49-1806 with any sign indicating vehicles may be towed by a company not licensed to perform nonconsent tows. Tow companies are expressly prohibited from posting signs indicating they will perform nonconsent tows if they are not licensed under this chapter. Licensees shall notify the Police Department in a method and fashion approved by the Chief of Police or his designee as soon as practicable, to include the make, model and license number of the vehicle removed, as well as the location from which it was towed and the person authorizing the tow.
