STREET COMMISSIONER-DUTIES
SECTION 51. There is hereby established an executive department of the municipal government of the city which shall be known as the department of public works, which department shall include: (1) the bureau of engineering, which shall include a division of maps and plats and a division of sewers; (2) the bureau of sewage disposal; (3) the bureau of waste disposal; and (4) the bureau of streets, rivers and gulches. All officers and employees of each of said bureaus shall be under the direction and supervision of the commissioner of public works.
