PAYMENT OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS IN INSTALLMENTS
SECTION 48-B. The common council may, in lieu of the issuance of bonds as provided by the "Local Improvement District Code", as its option, provide for the payment of any assessments against property within any local improvement district, in annual or semi-annual installments, the last of which said installment payments must be payable not more than 5 years from the date of confirmation of the assessment roll by the common council.
