CENSUS-BURIALS-BIRTHS
SECTION 42(45). To provide for taking enumeration of the inhabitants of the city, to regulate the burial of the dead, and keep a register of all births and deaths; to direct the returning and keeping of all bills of mortality; and to impose penalties on physicians, sextons and others for any default in the premises.
