SEWER CONNECTIONS
SECTION 42(27). To compel all persons erecting or maintaining privies, septic tanks, waste outlets, cesspools or toilets within one hundred seventy feet of any sewer to connect the same therewith; and to levy special taxes or to charge and collect service charges for the privilege of connecting with sewers and for the continued use thereof, the proceeds thereof to be used in construction, operation, extension, replacement, enlargement, maintenance and repair of sewers and sewage disposal facilities; to levy special taxes or to charge service charges for the collection and disposal of trash or garbage.
